Tennis

There are several tennis courts available to the public. Unfortunately, the municipal tennis courts in Puerto Pollensa were closed in 2005 in order to construct a secondary school on the site. There are promises to replace them, but noone knows where or when.

The following are courts we have used and which are still open to the public;

1. Bonanza Bar, Paseo Colon; 6 euros per hour, court ok, but have a drink after and use the pool!

2. Illa d'Or Apartments, Paseo Colon; 7 euros per hour, fine courts. Call hotel to book on 971 86 51 00.

3. Sports Centre, Carratera Palma, Pollensa Old Town; several courts, 5 euros per hour

4. Hotel Club Pollentia, Carratera Pto Pollensa-Alcudia; many courts, but guests take priority.

 

PS - We understand that the courts at the Habitat development (by the second roundabout from the port on the Puerto Pollensa-Pollensa road) are available too, but have no further details.
